Solar-Premium Ltd is committed to supplying durable, accredited solar lighting. This policy explains our refund, return, warranty and dispute procedures for purchases made through www.solar-premium.com and direct project orders.

1. Manufacturer Warranty

All Solar Premium luminaires are supplied with a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship — typically 2 to 5 years depending on model. The exact term is stated on each product specification sheet and on your order confirmation. Warranty covers replacement of defective units or components; it does not cover damage from improper installation, vandalism, lightning, abnormal voltages, or environmental conditions outside the rated IP/IK class.

2. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Inspect your order on arrival. If any unit is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as ordered, notify us within 7 days of delivery at info@solar-premium.com with photos and your order number. We will arrange replacement, repair or full refund at no cost to you, in line with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where applicable.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns

Stocked, unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price (shipping and a 15% restocking fee may apply). Custom-configured products (special CCT, custom optics, project-specific brackets) and bulk project orders are non-returnable except in the case of a fault.

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods, to the original payment method. Bank-transfer refunds may take additional time depending on your institution.

6. Project & Tender Orders

Tender, Government and large project orders are governed by the specific terms in the signed contract or purchase order, which prevail over this policy.

We aim to resolve any concern quickly. Email info@solar-premium.com. Unresolved disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of New Zealand for orders shipped within New Zealand, and of the Republic of South Africa for orders shipped within South Africa.
